Verdict
Jurby fell when tried over a longer trip at Hereford last time but has every chance back over his winning distance, especially if the forecast rains arrive. Shanroe Saint has faced some stiff tasks in handicaps since last seen in novice company but did finish behind Jurby at Stratford in the autumn, though is 6lb better off. There was plenty of confidence behind TOTTERDOWN on his third start over hurdles at Hereford and he didn’t disappoint. Daniel Hiskett’s claim is a plus again here. Royal Sunday made a winning start at Hereford but recorded a much slower time than the selection.
