Verdict

Beckwith Star jumps well enough but has been looking very one-paced and may need further. Asymmetrical was progressing with every run over hurdles and started favourite for his chasing debut at Downpatrick. He made several mistakes and pulled up that day where he was found to be lame after the race. He's another who should do better over longer trips in time but Luddsdenene should have learned from the experience gained at Navan where he was still in front when falling two out and he's had a couple of subsequent runs over hurdles. ODONIMEE made a fair chasing debut behind Days Hotel at Punchestown and was still in touch though fading when falling at the second last at Limerick in November. He is given the vote though this looks a race where the market should be followed.
