Verdict

Bold Gesture is making good progress and there was plenty to like about his second place at Naas where a last-flight error didn't help. Notebook easily won a point at Dromahane then was just outpaced on his hurdles bow over this trip at Wexford before beaten at odds-on over 2m3f at Clonmel. He'll be winning soon while Kellyiscool made a bad mistake at Galway which unsettled him and his earlier form on that track in the summer puts him in the picture. Roney is progressing with every run though her recent third to Getaway Katie Mai over the course and distance was on heavy going so some rain would aid her cause. JANIDIL was bought by J P McManus after finishing second in a Listed handicap at Auteuil to Epi Sacre, who was completing a hat-trick. He should be ready for this and can make a successful debut for Willie Mullins.
