In depth
Verdict
EASY GOLD ran just three times for Ed Walker on the Flat and doesn't have a jumping pedigree but must have been identified as a potential hurdler by new handler Willie Mullins and this won't take much winning. He's given the nod though A Shin Impala won at Dundalk in December and though making a few mistakes on his hurdling bow at Fairyhouse ran well for a long way. Gordon Elliott is also represented by Leomar, a dual winner on heavy ground on the level but disappointing so far in similar conditions over timber especially when beaten at odds-on at Wexford last time. He finished behind Papal Motel at Gowran in February and Andrew McNamara's charge will be better suited by today's conditions. Bracklin Princess came in for support in a five-runner race at Limerick last month but couldn't hold off Prince Charmin', though the reminder were well beaten.
