In depth

Verdict

Three of these are previous course and distance winners. Landecker was beaten six lengths by Forty Crown on heavy going here in February but is 7lb better off. Lough Derg Jewel has shown little since winning a maiden here in November. The Doorman showed improved form in January and Mondlicht dotted up in novice event at Musselburgh in November, though hasn’t been seen since. BUCKLED has a more recent victory at Musselburgh to his name, staying on strongly over a slightly longer trip. There is a stiff climb to the finish here and that will help him towards overcoming a 6lb rise.
