In depth

Verdict

Fleeting Moment, runner-up to Bellair here in June, was engaged in the 6.15 last night but whatever happens still faces a stiff task. With several of these needing a thorough test of stamina, STRIKING FORCE looks the one to be on as his two recent starts at Galway have been his best for some time and he's also happy on any ground. Dorset Square was a long way behind the selection at the Festival but he's much better than that as his two earlier victories testify. Golan Go has been running very well but is now 6lb higher than his last winning mark on the Flat, while Binocular won on the level over 2m1f at Clonmel in June so stamina is not an issue.
