    Verdict

CHEAD SOLAS was returning from a long break when scoring with a bit in hand at Cork where he was conceding the runner-up 21lb. He can go in again despite having to concede weight all round. Alabaster finished runner-up to in-form stable companion Bua Boy at Galway then ran well on the Flat a couple of days later so looks certain to get into contention. Insane Bolt finished runner-up to that winner at Sligo though that was over 2m4f and this could prove on the short side. Eagle Moon landed the odds in a Bellewstown maiden but disappointed on softer ground in a Galway handicap next time.
