Verdict

Dusty Trail was claimed back after winning this a year ago but hasn't been in very good form over hurdles. He should still prove difficult to beat in a poor renewal though COOLFIGHTER may have his measure. Three times a winner in Germany, he ran his best race so far for Tony Mullins at Galway where he wasn't far behind Hidden Universe in a handicap and that form would be good enough. It isn't easy making out a case for the remainder, though a first-time visor may bring about some improvement in the lightly-raced Chatterton. Light Storm Cass has gone backwards since landing a Wexford maiden last summer.
