Verdict

JANSBOY was having only his fourth start over fences when runner-up to Best Value at Wexford and, with just a 2lb rise to contend with, can go one better. Rodriguez was in the front rank when coming to grief in that latter race and would be a threat if staying on his feet. A Decent Excuse would be a danger if repeating his latest run at Galway. He was 10 lengths behind On The Way Out at Limerick in July but reversed that form easily at the Festival so is expected to go well here.
