The veteran Peregrine Run gained the 18th victory of his career at Leopardstown last month and ran well over hurdles at Cork earlier this month. Top Line Tommy has been alternating between hurdles and fences and finished a close fourth over timber at Tramore on Thursday but has only won on the all-weather. Auckland, a dual Flat winner in Germany, is steadily making his way down the ratings and could be well handicapped but ISOTOPE pops up every now and then and is only 2lb higher than his last victory on the Flat so may be good enough. Lynwood Gold generally misses the break before staying on and this is a flag start so he could go well while Sevenna Star won a Group 3 at Sandown back in 2018 and a return to that kind of form would put him in the frame.
