Verdict

Hop In was beaten 18l by Davinia's Tip here on New Year's Day but got much closer to the winner at Wexford in March and can make further progress. Pierlow enjoys quick ground and won twice in those conditions over hurdles so should go well on his chasing debut. Seamus Mor was having just his second run over fences when runner-up to the well supported Horendus Hulabaloo at Tipperary though that came with plenty of give in the ground. Shake It Up is bred for chasing so the fact that he's gone close over timber in his last two starts is a bonus but Stonehall Jack has had a lot of racing recently and was a bit disappointing at Limerick last time. SWANTYKAY hasn't been the most consistent over hurdles but is best on good ground and if taking to the bigger obstacles as expected he can make a successful start.
