In depth

Verdict

An open-looking contest but Captain Moirette stopped quickly once headed at Carlisle, though did spread a plate. OSKI, a winner over hurdles here, was beaten under a length by a promising chasing newcomer at Hereford last time. He was hampered in the early stages that day and, though he could have done without a 6lb rise, he can go one better here. Myplaceatmidnight has a bit to prove but Eclair D'Ainay has taken well to fences and is unlikely to be far away again. The return to a longer trip will suit Notre Pari and he could also go close.
