In depth

Verdict

Though placed in a point, Golden Taipan has been found wanting when racing beyond 2m under Rules. Mega Yeats was very well supported at Kelso last month but failed to quicken in the closing stages. STORMY FLIGHT has been running well this season, despite failing to get his head in front. He deserves a change of luck but probably wouldn’t want the going to get any quicker. Chinwag has won three of his last four but he would have definitely preferred softer underfoot conditions and has been hit with a further 9lb rise.
