Verdict

Our Mick usually meets better opposition than this but hasn't won in more than three years. It's difficult to have much faith in Up For An Oscar at present but Henri Parry Morgan is a course and distance winner and the likes of Orby's Man, Castle Conflict and Provincial Pride could all figure if in the mood. Boruma came back to form when third at Kelso while Forgivienne is only 2lb higher than when beating Royale Knight at Chepstow so has to go on the short-list. BOLD CONQUEST only weakened at the last on his first run for Stuart Edmunds at Fontwell. He has few miles on the clock so improvement is likely and he can finally open his account here.
