In depth
Verdict
GAMEFACE was in good form over hurdles at Sedgefield in the spring and carried that improvement back over fences at Hexham. This looks a weaker race so a 7lb rise looks fair. A switch to fences should suit points winner Funky Sensation while Daranova looks to be improving with experience over the larger obstacles. None of the others make much appeal on recent form.
