Verdict
Warren Greatrex is predicting big things for his Stayers’ Hurdle fourth EMITOM over fences, even though he often treated his hurdles with scant respect. This is no easy start, however, with the useful Monsieur Lecoq aiming to give Jane Williams back-to-back victories in this race. Boss Man Fred’s only defeat over hurdles came in a Grade 2 and he has already won between the flags. Seven De Baune and Hurricane Harvey are other potentially-useful recruits to the chasing ranks and Quartz Du Rheu has joined Jonjo O’Neill from Willie Mullins and is another worth noting.
