Verdict
A small field goes to post for this novices chase and the main protagonists appear to be Wagner, Beaver Lodge and Uncle Mick and the confident vote goes to Wagner. The gelding looked a horse to follow when quickening up well on his chasing debut when defeating Colquhoun. He will be hard to beat despite his penalty with conditions again in his favour. Beaver Lodge rates the main danger he was a fair second behind Stromness last time but all his best form over hurdles is with more cut in the ground so for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Uncle Mick is another worthy of respect he was second behind Comanche War Paint last time but he lacks the scope of Wagner so Wagner gets the confident vote.
