Verdict
A competitive contest rounds off proceedings and the principals appear to be Val De Fleurie, Prince Dimitri and Bude and we will take a chance on Val De Fleurie. The eight year old has been in good form of late and he won with more in hand than the winning margin suggest last time out so with conditions again in his favour he will be hard to beat. Prince Dimitri rates the main danger he was a fair novice last season and although he has top weight he will not be far away in this poor contest. Bude is another that could go well but he is becoming frustrating and he has not won for a long time. Of the remainder Angles Venture is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market but we are happy to stick with Val De Fleurie.
