Verdict
NOONIE takes on his elders on handicap debut, but Phil Kirby's charge has shown enough when placed in a couple of maiden hurdles to be a key contender off a fair-looking mark. Fellow four-year-old Shipton Moyne made a pleasing debut over hurdles last summer when accounting for Mucuna with a degree of comfort before finishing 46 lengths behind the same horse three weeks later on the same ground. Post-race issues were diagnosed and she's been absent until reappearing on the Flat last month. A watching brief is probably the best way to go. Rose Of Siena is 0-8 under Rules but has shown sufficient to be involved in a modest-looking contest. Toughasoldboots folded rather quickly last time after looking a threat and this drop back to the minimum trip could prove beneficial.
