Verdict

MASH POTATO won for Noel Kelly here in April when the going was soft. He’s still 3lb higher but this may be an opportunity to get back in track, though he’ll have to reverse Cartmel running with Baraboy. Texas Forever has to be of interest as, though still a maiden under Rules, he has been placed three times over fences and once over hurdles and hasn’t many miles on the clock. Generous Day has shown some ability and may be best of the rest ahead of Flat winner Invictus.
