Verdict

Ask Paddington was a very easy winner at Sedgefield last month but faces a 12lb hike in the ratings. Presence Of Mind is unexposed having made a winning start over hurdles at Catterick at the start of the year but this is not an easy start in handicaps. Storm Goddess is much respected under Brian Hughes having ended the last campaign with a smooth victory over a similar trip at Doncaster, though is 9lb higher today. CERVARO MIX won over this trip at Huntingdon earlier this year and made a pleasing reappearance in a strong 2m handicap at Southwell, travelling strongly until outpaced in the straight. That should have blown away the cobwebs and the top weight won’t be far away here. Theclockisticking continues to disappoint while Flashing Glance is hard to catch right nowadays.
