In depth

Verdict

Kings Temptation has a good strike-rate and is chasing a hat-trick of course victories but, like last month’s Stratford winner Monty's Award, he is stepping up a grade for this having climbed further up the ratings. SIROBBIE (NAP), a winner three times here over hurdles, was making his chasing bow when runner-up to Young Wolf in July. The third won earlier this week and there is almost certainly more to come from Harry Whittington’s charge. Flying Verse keeps finding one too good but blinkers could help Jersey Bean, who still has time on his side. This may be too competitive for Bermeo.
