Verdict

VEREINA beat Amlovi by 15 lengths over course and distance last month and was equally impressive two weeks later at Bangor. She is 12lb higher now but 5lb claimer Ross Turner is back on board so a hat-trick could be on the cards. Tennewrow could be the danger if fully wound-up but hasn’t raced since April. See Forever and Hepburn have similar absences to overcome and it’s difficult to make a case for any of the others.
