In depth
Verdict
Andrew Doble is a useful recruit from the flat to be running over timber at this early stage of the season. He could well be the sort to follow this Autumn. Limbo Lad, who had shown promise on his debut, will need to put behind him a poor effort at Bangor, while both Washington Pink and Dizzy Tart should run well, without being quite good enough to win. The biggest threat should come from Bongo Fury, who was a winner earlier this year in France. She has done most of her running when there has been plenty of give underfoot and would probably not want the ground to dry out too much.
