Verdict
A competitive event with Polished, College City and Va Vavoom all considered with the vote going to the last named. A good second at Perth behind Rajam last time out Va Vavoom looks like an improving type and will strip fitter after his first outing of the season so is taken to score this time around. College City is one to note in the market and after his wins at Uttoxeter and Southwell during the summer he again came good at Market Rasen before a close second at Hexham last time out. He is a horse very much in form and if able to maintain that ability will have to go close. The same can be said about Polished who scored a hat-trick back in May and June before finishing fourth at Stratford last month. That may have shown his limitations but again is worth noting in the market. But for the winner we return to Va Vavoom.
