Verdict

It would be tempting to take on likely favourite Dangerousdanmagru off a 10lb higher mark than when scoring at Chepstow last week but he again has conditions to suit and is hard to oppose in a race where Jericho III and Another Native rate the main dangers. Jericho III has had the benefit of two runs this term and there should be more improvement to come from him but Richard Guest's stable are not in great form at present so he may be best watched. Mistral De La Cour is entitled to need the run, while Nephite gave little cause for optimism on his recent reappearance. Advance East lacks a recent run and of interest may be Charlie Mann's Another Native, who lacks a ruin this term but comes from a stable that has produced a couple of first time out winners of late. Dangerousdanmagru loves testing conditions though and is taken to land another handicap on heavy ground.
