Verdict

DARAMOON can prevail in this handicap chase at the main expense of Classic Clover and Ballinruane. The selection ran a blinder last time over 2m5f at this venue. She was having her first run for new connections that day and returning from a break. She is upped in trip here which should suit and she can finally get her head in front at 11th time of asking. Classic Clover won at Wincanton earlier in the month and it is worth pointing out that all his three wins have come at that venue. He should make the frame but he doesn't win very often and it should pay to take him on. The form of the stable is a bit of a worry for Ballinruane who is having his third run back after a lengthy absence. He would have claims on his best form and he should now be fit enough to do himself justice. Stockton Flyer is at his best with plenty of give underfoot and it is hard to see him troubling the judge. Silver Dagger has won over the course and distance and he can go well at a price, but in an open heat the vote goes to Daramoon.
