In depth

Verdict

Oscar Magic may turn out to be a handicap good thing off his current rating of 120 but the combination of poor recent form and a long absence from the track make the Nigel Twiston Davies eight year old a proposition that comes with plenty of risk attached. With that in mind, we will stick with KYLEMORE LOUGH (NAP). The six year old may have needed his seasonal reappearance and with his favoured soft ground likely, we can see him getting back to winning ways. Go Conquer tended to race exuberantly over hurdles and he makes a first start over fences for a new trainer. Grove Silver is proven on the surface while maiden Blown Cover showed enough over hurdles to suggest that he is worth persevering with.
