The betting may suggest otherwise but all of these would have some sort of chance. Ebony Empress has done little wrong since the turn of the year, winning at Ludlow and Newbury. But this will be her first try over 3m whereas Mighty Minnie won over the trip at Bangor four weeks ago and is only 6lb higher. Flemensbay was soon clear over course and distance two weeks ago but steps up a grade for this off an 8lb higher mark while Maypole Lass is still a maiden. A Shade Of Bay was pulled up at Towcester last time but was second in a better race at Ludlow in February. GAYE MEMORIES hasn't won since landing this 12 months ago and is still 4lb higher. But she's looked on the way back in a couple of recent runs and can reverse Newbury running in March with Ebony Empress on the way to taking this for a second year running.
