In depth

Verdict

Melody Of Scotland carries the McManus first colours but this could be on the short side nowadays for the mare. Swaffham Bulbeck has shown nothing since claimed out of Olly Murphy’s yard at Fakenham in March but Peter The Mayo Man was well backed and hinted at a revival at Southwell earlier this month while Get Back Get Back remains unexposed over timber and has had a run on the all-weather. NEW AGENDA (NAP) has slipped to a lenient mark and will be all the better for a run on the Flat at Newbury - Richard Johnson looks a significant jockey booking.
