Verdict

MAN OF STEEL may have been all out to get home at Ffos Las in May but he defied a penalty in breathtaking fashion last month and sets a very clear standard in the finale. The decision to race under another penalty won't have been an easy one to make yet his presence appears to have scared away much of the opposition. Seamus Durack saddled a big winner on the Flat last week and he unveils an interesting newcomer in Snapchat. A son of Shantou, there should be no issue regarding the ability to act over trip and going. Cute Court was unable to trouble the judge after winning a maiden point-to-point on soft ground at Killeagh in January. Little Bit Lively makes his debut and is a half-brother to a winning hurdler. The remainder look to have it all to do on all known racecourse evidence.
