In depth

Verdict

A match between the top two unless one of the others produces dramatic improvement. Henrietta Bell came to grief when in contention in a competitive handicap at Southwell on her latest start but is going the right way and will probably set out to make all, as was the case when scoring easily on her penultimate start at the same venue. NORDICAN BLEUE returned from a break of over 260 days and wind surgery to deliver in some style recently, also at Southwell. She has a couple of successes on the level in France to her name and gets the vote in the hope her turn of foot proves decisive late on. Flat winner and hurdling newcomer, Duck Egg Blue, is next best.
