Verdict

An ordinary bumper which may well be dominated by a couple of newcomers from leading stables. GLOBAL ANCHOR is by leading NH sire Getaway out of an Oscar mare and, at €85,000, was a comparatively expensive purchase. He gets the nod ahead of Little Jack, who was cheap by comparison at €35,000. Peter Bowen’s Eyehaveagoodidea is another debutant to consider while Seven De Baune finished second in a maiden point in December, though is probably a chaser in the making.
