In depth

Verdict

Bauhaus gets the vote here with Sakenos and Noviciate rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair second behind Song Of Vala last time out, that form sets the standard in the context of this race and with his yard in better form and under conditions that suit he looks the one to be on. Sakenos rates the main danger on his best form but he has since disappointed, however the return to this shorter trip should suit and he should be noted in the market. Noviciate showed ability in bumper but has not progressed as expected, however it is interesting that his shrewd yard are persevering with him. Of the remainder Zailaan hails from a yard in form and is another to note in the market but he may be seen to better effect in handicaps once stepped up in trip and with this in mind for the winner we return to Bauhaus.
