Verdict

Due to go up 10lb from next week, GOOD AND HARDY will be a short price to complete his hat-trick as his victory over course and distance 10 days ago was in a conditionals’ race so he escapes a penalty. Sedgefield maiden winner Barrowlands may be the one for forecast-backers as Sleepy Haven has gone back up the weights since seconds at Carlisle and Hexham. Dr Des would have a chance on past form but he’s not impressed over this longer trip since returning to hurdling.
