Verdict

The Venetia Williams yard can do little wrong at present and One Style will be popular having returned from a lengthy absence with a victory over a much longer trip at Hereford last week. He has no penalty and has now won his last three but that recent run will have used up some energy reserves and this is probably more competitive that first appears. Parlour Maid was reluctant to line-up at Cheltenham last week and then unseated her rider at the second but she’s won easily at Lingfield earlier and a quick turnaround may be significant. LICKPENNY LARRY made all and was always holding Scartare over track and trip last month. The runner-up is only a pound better off and Tom Gretton’s charge is a real mud-lover. Louse Talk is not out of this but blinkers would need to spark a revival in Cougar's Gold.
