    Verdict

September Moon, Vicentio and Lilac look the main contenders here with the vote going to the last named. Richard Price is doing well under both codes at present and Lilac came good around here on her first outing of the season. It was the manner that she won that caught the eye and if able to reproduce the same she should have no problems following up. September Moon ran second behind Downing Street last time out but was eight lengths behind. This looks a little less competitive but he will still have to be at his very best to win here. Vicentio was behind September Moon at Perth on his last outing and they were only split by two lengths so there is little between them again here. But for the winner we return to Lilac.
