Verdict
A smallish field but a competitive handicap nonetheless. Second in a maiden at Worcester and a novice event at Southwell, Lady Maleficent is a likely improver but MAURICIO came good switched to handicap company here last time and, also only four, can find the necessary to overcome a 6lb rise. Jamacho is tried in cheekpieces in an attempt to rediscover his best form while Voodoo Doll takes a big drop in class and has Isobel Williams’ claim in his favour. Throckley should find a small race off his current mark.
