Verdict

PREDICTIVE, a course winner over hurdles, gets the nod. Although he got rid of his jockey at the eighth fence last time, he looks the sort to do well over fences this season and the testing ground is no issue at all. Negus De Beaumont is a fascinating contender; off 1006 days, it will be some training performance to get him ready to win this although he has plenty of ability. Moorlands Teri gets weight from the boys and she rates better than a reappearance run over hurdles at Aintree, whilst Don't Tell Nina is another to respect despite taking a tumble at Sedgefield earlier in the month.
