Verdict

LABOREC is narrowly preferred in a tough race to call. Not with Neil King for long, the former Howard Johnson inmate handles soft ground and will come on for his reappearance at the track. Diktalina looks well-handicapped, whilst a 7lb penalty for Bellflower Boy's Huntingdon run leaves him dangerously well-treated. Black Apache won on this card last year, and he rates a bigger threat than the out-of-form Petroglyph or Clifton Pier. A more eminent danger is Winged Farasi who comes here after a two month break from racing on the flat and he was successful on his most recent start over timber previously.
