Verdict
Bay Central failed to take advantage of a favourable rating over hurdles at Newton Abbot, and with the form of his recent course and distance victory taking a knock in the interim, it could be worth looking elsewhere. CITRUS MARK has caught the eye in the past and while Paul Webber's eight-year-old is unlikely to secure an uncontested lead, we know he stays further and he can make stamina count in what is likely to be a true run affair. Uncle Pelder was behind our selection when they met at Market Rasen and he gets a chance to reverse the form with a 2lb pull at the weights. Sporting Boy appears at his best with some cut in the ground while Bennys Quest and Fintan are exposed.
