In depth

Verdict

Though OURMULLION had to work hard to get off the mark at Newton Abbot, this is such a poor opener that he may well be good enough to defy a penalty. Camlad Kingfisher escapes extra for landing a conditionals’ race over track and trip nine days ago so must be a danger. Gin And Tonic is the only other previous course winner in the line-up but is hard to catch right nowadays. Richard Johnson rides the four-year-old The Lincoln Lawyer so he looks the pick of the remainder.
