Verdict

A small field will contest this, and the one with the most appeal is R DE RIEN SIVOLA, the only runner on the card for Paul Nicholls, who'll have more of an interest this week in Galway. A safe passage round may be all that's needed if stripping fit following a six month lay-off. She gains at least a stone on all her rivals, and if taking to the bigger fences on this her chase debut, may be too classy for her rivals. Sky Calling is another debutante over the bigger obstacles, and Martin Keighley's had some decent winners this season. Expect her to try and dictate matters. Western Gale is having his first run in the UK and for his yard after coming over from Ireland where he's had a modicum of success. Oscar Royal has far too many Ps and Us in its form to be considered a serious contender, while Sea Cliff is far from a star in Jonjo O'Neill's yard, and finished fourth of five on chase debut. There are negatives about all of them, but fewer about the selection, R De Rien Sivola.
