Verdict
Al Roc has finally got his act together and arrives on a hat-trick. He is penalised and faces competition for the lead here but won in a canter at Fakenham last week and Philip Armson takes off 5lb again. PINK EYED PEDRO has slipped to a fair mark and this is generally his time of year. He couldn’t match the finishing speed of Dublin Four at Chepstow last month but was clear of the rest and is tried in blinkers for the first time. Only a nose separated Destrier and Barton Knoll at Aintree last month and they are weighted to dead-heat here while none of the others can be ruled out, though all were tailed off when last seen.
