Verdict
Fiery Peace and Iacacia look to have been done very few favours on their first appearance in handicap-company and preference is for Terek, who may appreciate the faster surface today. The Richard Philips-trained gelding has form on the soft, including in handicap-company, and lost no caste in defeat behind Untidy Daughter at Sedgefield last time but the gelding - a winner on the flat in Germany - may do better now that he tackles a faster surface. Henry Daly's Fiery Peace showed improved form when chasing home Jollyolly at Hereford earlier in the month but has been raised 21lbs since then, while Iacacia's form is short of what should be required to win this off his mark. Jonjo O'Neill's runners always warrant respect but with the stable going through a quiet spell at present Silver Dagger is probably best watched and of more interest could be the consistent Bodfari Rose, who seems fairly treated for her first start in this grade. Our Imperial Bay and Ramblees Holly are others worthy of a mention but we are happy to side with Terek under ground conditions that should suit.
