In depth

Verdict

FOYNES ISLAND looks the standout here after a pleasing debut under rules. The Phillip Hobbs trained runner improved in a couple of runs in Irish bumpers to score on the last of those before finding just one too good over hurdles last time and with a bit more improvement should take this. Paquet Cadeau will handle the conditions and showed promise in France before making a winning UK debut over course and distance. He unseated his rider when last seen and he has every chance now switched to hurdles. Back Bob Back was progressive between the flags and should go well on debut under rules but Foynes Island looks a smart enough prospect.
