Verdict
This looks the weaker of the two divisions. Golan Sun's victory came in a Loughanmore point-to-point but Paul Stafford hasn't sent him over the Irish Sea for a holiday and Conor Maxwell takes off 5lb. Cleve Cottage followed up a third at Wetherby with a close second at Carlisle and has obvious claims but we'll take a chance on SARAZEN BRIDGE (NAP). This is a big step up in trip for Jonjo O'Neill's gelding but he's a half-brother to National Hunt Chase and Irish National winner Butler's Cabin and certain to be suited. Champion Richard Johnson is in the saddle for the first time.
