Verdict

SOME DAY SOON could be worth a speculative wager in this. Third last year when returning from an even longer break, he is 2lb lower and 11lb better off with Hooper than when beaten three lengths by that one at Stratford later. Jamie Snowden’s charge also beat Forecast by 17 lengths over fences last July. Hunters Call was highly tried last season after winning at Bangor and is tried in cheekpieces here. Whatsupwithyou has claims on recent seconds at Fontwell and Cheltenham but Hurricane Ali has gone up 6lb for winning at Haydock and is only 1-8 around here. Onagatheringstorm is preferred to Champagne Well of the two O’Brien runners.
