Burrows Park came good in a ladies’ race at Ludlow but may not get his own way out in front on this stiffer track. Aliandy ran well on his reappearance at Bangor but didn’t follow that up at Wetherby, where he was never travelling. The Vocalist remains lightly raced and Sizing Cusimano wore down Volcano over 3m here earlier in the month and is effective over this shorter trip. ASYLO (NAP) was all out to win in a lower grade here last month and then only fifth at Taunton. But the going was too quick for him that day and he deserves another chance to show he’s improved for the switch to Richard Newland. Eur Gone West makes his handicap debut but Never Equalled has run poorly in two starts since returning from a break.
