Verdict

The majority of these almost certainly have more to offer over fences but New To This Town may need this and Aintree My Dream may also benefit from another run. The Bottom Bar had an unfortunate experience at Sandown when Daryl Jacob was knocked out of the saddle by a loose horse. A winner on soft going over hurdles, he should go close with a clear round but may need further. DR DES has been dropped 3lb since facing a tough task against more experienced chasers at Exeter. He still has time on his side and the weights here are more compacted. Calipso Collonges never threatened at Bangor but that should have blown away a few cobwebs and he is worth a market check.
